Is there an Infiniti InTouch Services app?

Yes. Search "Infiniti InTouch Services" on your devices app store to get the app, or to ensure that you have the latest version available.

Do I need my cell phone to be able to use Infiniti InTouch Services?

You will be able to use Infiniti InTouch Services without the need to have your cell phone in the car. However, the Infiniti InTouch Services app on your smartphone allows you to access convenient remote services from outside your vehicle. Your Infiniti must be within range of a compatible cellular network in order to receive services.

What type of connection does Infiniti InTouch Services use?

Infiniti InTouch Services uses a telematics control unit that is embedded in the vehicle, connecting to the cellular network to access the suite of services.

How many features does Infiniti InTouch Services have?

Infiniti InTouch Services offers two packages (Infiniti InTouch Services and Infiniti InTouch Services Premier) with over 20 unique features.

Is there a limit to the number of times I can contact Infiniti InTouch Services?

You can contact Infiniti InTouch Services as often as you like. You can access Infiniti InTouch Services in the car, on your computer or from the Infiniti InTouch Services smartphone app.

What is Remote Door Lock/Unlock?

Remote Door Lock/Unlock allows you to remotely unlock or lock your Infiniti’s doors via the Infiniti InTouch Services website, smartphone app, automated phone system, or through a Customer Service agent. If you forgot to lock your vehicle, or if you need to open it and don’t have the keys, you can remotely send a request to lock or unlock your doors. 

 

In order for the Remote Door Lock/Unlock command to be successful, your vehicle must meet the following criteria:

  • Infiniti intelligent key must be outside of the vehicle
  • Engine must be off

Why is a delay offered?

You can set a delay period before the lock or unlock command is sent to your vehicle. For example, if you don’t want your Infiniti to be unlocked for an unattended period, you can set a delay to allow enough time to get to your vehicle. The delay is only available through the Infiniti InTouch Services website, the automated phone system, or a Customer Service agent. After receiving a remote door unlock command, your Infiniti will only remain unlocked for 30 seconds. If you don’t open the door, it will automatically re-lock all doors as a security feature.

Why is a PIN required?

As an added security measure, a PIN is required before the Remote Door lock/Unlock and Remote Engine Start/Stop services can be used.

Will I be notified if the Door Lock/Unlock command was successful?

You have the ability to set up a notification for this feature. If you set up the notification preference, we will send a confirmation to you indicating whether a door lock or unlock command was successfully sent to your Infiniti.

Can I cancel a Remote Door Lock/Unlock command?

Yes. You can cancel a Remote Door Lock/Unlock command by pressing the 'Cancel' button on the Infiniti InTouch Services website. The 'Cancel' function will only work with commands that have a delay. Commands with no delay are sent immediately and cannot be canceled.

What is Remote Horn and Lights?

Remote Horn and Lights allows you to remotely flash the lights and sound the horn on your Infiniti. It is most often used to help you locate your vehicle. There is an option to use only the flash lights mode. The service is available through the Infiniti InTouch Services website, smartphone app, automated phone system, and Customer Service agents.

 

In order for the Remote Horn and Lights command to be successful, your vehicle must meet the following criteria:

  • Infiniti intelligent key must be outside of the vehicle
  • Engine must be off

When you start your vehicle with Remote Start, the engine will run for 10 minutes. If you need extra time before you get to your car, you can extend the run time by making a second Remote Engine Start request. The car will run for an additional 10 minutes from the time of your second request. After sending two Remote Engine Start commands to your vehicle, you will need to start your engine with the Infiniti intelligent key before being able to send additional Remote Engine start commands. 

 

In order for the Remote Engine Start command to be successful, your vehicle must meet the following criteria:

-Doors, hood and trunk should be closed and locked

-Windows up

-Infiniti intelligent key must be outside of the vehicle

Why is a PIN required?

As an added security measure, a PIN is required before the Remote Door lock/Unlock and Remote Engine Start/Stop services can be used.

Will I be notified if my Remote Start request was successful?

You can choose to be notified of the success or failure of Remote Engine Start and Remote Engine Stop commands, and you will receive a Remote Engine Stop Alert when the vehicle completes its engine run cycle after being activated by a Remote Start command. If you have not started your vehicles’ engine in the last 14 days, you will need to start your engine with the Infiniti Intelligent Key inside the vehicle.

Can I cancel a Remote Start command?

Yes, you can cancel a Remote Start command once the engine has started running by activating a Remote Engine Stop command via the Infiniti InTouch Services website, smartphone app and a Customer Service agent.

What is Alarm Notification?

Alarm Notification will notify you if your Infiniti’s alarm has been triggered. This is especially useful when you are out of the alarm’s audible range. If your Infiniti alarm is triggered and you have selected to receive Alarm Notifications, we will notify you according to your preference (email, text message, or automated phone call).

A Drive Zone is a geographical boundary you configure on the Infiniti InTouch Services web map. Select an address, enter the desired radius of the Drive Zone, and then determine whether this is a zone your Infiniti should "stay within" or "keep out." You have the option to name each zone and determine when the boundaries would be active by setting individual start and stop times. If your Infiniti breaches boundaries when the Drive Zone is active, you'll be notified according to your preference (email, text message, or automated phone call).

Why is Drive Zone important?

Drive Zone can help you monitor how authorized users drive your vehicle. You can also use it to establish a perimeter for peace of mind when you are not with your vehicle.

You can set your preferences to display a notification pop-up in the vehicle itself to remind your secondary driver when the vehicle is outside an authorized drive zone, or inside a prohibited one.

Once the vehicle crosses the boundary, will the vehicle function change in any way?

No. The vehicle will not be immobilized or limited in any way.

What is a Valet Alert?

This service allows you to monitor whether your vehicle moves outside a 0.2 mile radius of its location when activated. When your Infiniti leaves the 0.2 mile radius, you’ll be notified according to your preference (email, text message, or automated phone call).

How do I activate Valet Alert?

You can activate Valet Alert by connecting to the Infiniti InTouch Services Voice Menu in the vehicle and selecting "Valet Alert," or via the Drive Zone section of the Infiniti InTouch Services website.

Will the occupant of the vehicle be aware if they have breached the driving boundary?

There is no notification within the vehicle. Only those drivers who have been set to receive notifications will be alerted.

Once the vehicle crosses the boundary, will the vehicle function change in any way?

No. The vehicle will not be immobilized or limited in any way.

What is Max Speed Alert?

Max Speed Alert allows you to set a maximum speed parameter, monitoring period, and a notification preference. If the vehicle exceeds that speed while the monitoring period is active, you’ll be notified according to your preference (email, text message, or automated phone call).

Is a PIN required?

Max Speed Alert does not require a PIN because it is an information service only—it does not send any vehicle commands. Your initial Infiniti InTouch Services username/password combination provides the needed security.

What are the notification options?

What is Infiniti Personal Assistant?

Infiniti Personal Assistant is your personal concierge for a myriad of services, from restaurant suggestions and reservations to movie show times and sports scores or even general trivia answers. Simply call the toll-free number or press the in-vehicle button to connect via the Interactive Voice Response System. Say "Infiniti Personal Assistant" and in moments you will be connected to a Personal Assistant ready to provide service on virtually any task.

Is a PIN required?

Infiniti Personal Assistant does not require a username/password or PIN to verify your identity before providing service.

What is My Schedule?

My Schedule allows you to see your Google Calendar™ events in your vehicle. You can sync up your Google Calendar™  on the Infiniti InTouch Services website.

Is a PIN required?

A PIN is not required for this feature, but to set up My Schedule, you will need to validate the Google Calendar™ set up with a Google login and password.

Can I navigate to locations in Google Calendar™ entries?

In order for the location of a meeting to be available for use by your navigation system, please enter the address in the following manner:

My Schedule is no longer updating in my vehicle, what can I do?

You may need to enable Google’s offline access. Go to the My Schedule page on the Infiniti InTouch Services customer website and follow the instructions on the user guide to Update.

What is Destination Assistance?

Destination Assistance enables you to contact the Response Center to obtain directions to Points of Interest and have them downloaded to your vehicle navigation unit. You can also search for locations via Google Maps™ and send to your vehicle via Google's "Send to Car" tool.

Destination Assistance does not require a PIN because it is an information service only—it does not send any vehicle commands.

What is Destination Send-to-Vehicle?

Destination Send-To-Vehicle enables you to search for Points of Interest on the Infiniti InTouch Services web map and have them downloaded to your vehicle navigation unit. You can also search for locations via Google Maps™ and send to your vehicle via Google's "Send to Car" tool.

What is Journey Planner?

Plan your road trip in advance to save valuable time. Journey Planner will allow you to plot multiple points of interest or destinations as a named Journey and send them seamlessly to your Infiniti navigation system. Once the Journey is initiated in the vehicle you will be guided along your planned Journey.

How do I access Journey Planner once it has been downloaded to the vehicle?

  • Press the Info button
  • Select "Infiniti InTouch Services" from the touch screen
  • Select "Sync all information feeds"
  • Select "All information feeds”
  • Select the folder

What are Maintenance Alerts?

The Maintenance Alert service notifies you of vehicle malfunctions, which trigger MILs (Malfunction Indicator Lights). You will be notified according to your designated preference (email, text message, or automated phone call), and these alerts will be posted on the website and made available to you in your Infiniti through both text display and audio alerts. Through email alerts and the website, you will have the opportunity to schedule a service appointment with an Infiniti retailer to address the malfunction.

What is Curfew Alert?

Curfew Alert allows you to monitor the time and day when your vehicle is driven. If your Infiniti is operated outside of the pre-determined schedule, you will receive a notification according to your preference (email, text message, or automated phone call).
